A quieter month after the busy time at the A & P Show. However our BBQ Trailer was in use at the Children’s Day Out. This was a busy and successful day organised by Women and Family Centre; and again at the monthly Kaukapakapa Market along with our Book Sales.
We had a very informative talk given by Women and Family on the work they do; an interesting talk by a student whom we assisted to work in Zimbabwe as part of her studies and an insightful talk about the Rainbow Warrior.
We also sent a donation to the Lions Club in Fiji to assist in their re-building after the cyclone devastation
We sadly lost one of our longest serving Lions, Sam Samson. He will be sadly missed.
Our new Telephone book is almost ready for publication and delivery, so watch out for it in your letterbox.
