As well as being busy with traditional curriculum and assessment our students have enjoyed participating in Education Outside the Classroom. Our Year 7’s & 8’s spent two nights roughing it at Shakespeare Park before hiking around Tiri Tiri Island for a day. The Year 5’s and 6’s explored the mangroves at Moirs Point Christian Centre and our Year 3’s and 4’s discovered the Rocky Foreshore at Peter Snell Youth Village in Whangaparaoa. Our Year 2’s are looking forward to attending a sleepover at school this week.
On Monday the 23rd of November our Year 5’s to 8’s traveled to Sinclair Park to participate in our Athletics Day. We look forward to seeing family and friends of our students at our wind-up night at 6pm on December 10th before we break for our summer break on the 11th.
