Happy new year to everyone from Helensville Junior Rugby Club. We are looking forward to another great season and welcoming returning and new members to the club for 2017.
Thank you to all our players and volunteers who helped make 2016 a great season. With your support and that of our sponsors and especially Burmester Realty and Mitre10 Helensville, the club is looking great and moving forwards in 2017.
2017 Season kicks off on Sat May the 6th this year.
This year we will be having our Club Day for games, registrations and weigh in, on Sunday March the 5th from 10 – 2pm. All fees will remain the same as 2016.
Registrations will also be done via the online system that we encourage you to use. All returning players will receive a letter and information regarding this in February.
To all the young ladies out there that want to give rugby a go but don’t want the tackle element, Girls Rippa is a key focus again for us. If you want to get a group of 8 – 10 girls from school or touch we will make you a team. Rippa grades for boys and girls are a great way to introduce your 5 and 6yr olds to the skills and enjoyment of rugby.
To all parents, we do need your help with coaching and managing teams again, please consider what you can do to help. We will do everything we can to help make this an enjoyable experience for you as well.
