“The Best Book Fair in the West!”

The Lions Club of Helensville are holding their popular annual Christmas Book Fair in November on Saturday 26th, 9am to 4pm and Sunday 27th, 10am to 3pmin the Helensville War Memorial Hall. This is a follow-up to their incredibly successful book fair in May which raised a record $9,400 was raised for the local community. An excellent clearance of books was achieved at the Autumn Fair and the large number of newly donated books arriving daily will ensure a new and exciting look to the Christmas Book Fair.
The books cover as wide a range of subjects as it is possible to imagine, and Helensville Lions pride themselves on making your browsing effortless by grouping areas of popular interests and authors. Nonfiction is split into twenty separate categories, including one dedicated to New Zealand subjects, still leaving a large general nonfiction section to browse through. Fiction is arranged in alphabetical order, with six special interest groups, the largest of which is the now popular fantasy genre.
Books are priced to sell with paperbacks at $1, hardbacks at $2.00children’s books at 50c.There is also a good selection of jigsaws, board games, puzzles, LPs, videos, DVDs, CDs and quality magazines.
All funds raised go into The Lions Club of Helensville Charitable Trust, and are used for the benefit of the local community.
