Art on Track Gallery at the Helensville Railway Station welcome back well-known local artist Laurel North, but with a difference this time. Previous exhibitions have been mainly local scenes in representational style, but Laurel, who paints in a range of styles, has selected Abstract and Quirky pictures painted over many years and not before exhibited. To add to the fun, titles have been deliberately withheld so viewers may decide for themselves what each picture is about.
So come along from April 6th to 24th and see what titles you can come up with Laurel wishes you Good Luck with your interpretations!!
Resident artists Audrey Jenkins, Stella Owens, Marcia Barrowman and Lyn Chapman, jeweller Halina McGechan and Arataki Ceramics are still there and there is a lovely new selection of hand painted cards by the artists from the last two exhibitions.
Opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am – 3.30 pm.
