Arts in the Ville – Yarn Bombing
Following the success of the inaugural Arts in the Ville festival in 2015 Helensville will again be full of creativity and colour during Labour weekend this year, October 22 -24.
Events will include pop up exhibitions and opportunities to meet artists in their working spaces and talk to them about their work. Art pieces can be purchased direct from the artist or from one of the pop up exhibitions. You can ‘have a go’ at one of the interactive displays, with the organisers offering you the chance to “go home feeling inspired by the creativity that has collected in this historic town.” Maps will be available prior to the event or on the day.
