7 Year old Niamh came into the Art Centre and exclaimed “Dad, it’s good that Helensville has a little Art Gallery isn’t it?” Niamh had gone to the playground with her family when they saw the Art Centre was open for it’s Art-Noon Tea Party and came in to enjoy the afternoon tea and watch the series of movies made during the ‘Make a Movie in a Day’ workshops. They also got to enjoy the final days of this years Matariki Exhibition. Here she is in front of the nine kete painted by ‘differently abled’ local artist Thomas Hogan.
