Fred Mans discusses his work with Pat Kench
The Art Centre is holding an open exhibition as part of the Auckland-wide Festival of Photography 2016 Programme, which has 64 venues. Helensville is one of only a handful of galleries who have invited the public to be involved in exhibiting. Most galleries have exhibitions featuring one guest or a small group of guest exhibitors, but true to the Art Centre being a real community art space the exhibition is open to all.
The exhibition runs from June 4 – 25 and will feature a slideshow of nearly 1,000 images by Fred Mans. Pop into the Art Centre for a brochure detailing all Festival of Photography 2016 the exhibitions.
The Art Centre is in the basement of the Helensville War Memorial Hall, 49 Commercial Road and is open Tuesday – Friday 10am – 4.30pm and Saturdays 10am – 3pm.
