Technology classes are underway for Helensville School’s Year 7/8 students. Each week, for six weeks, they will spend one morning at Kaipara College where they work with the college staff to learn new life skills. This year they will be taking part in Food Technology, Textiles (sewing) and Hard Materials (wood work) over their three six-week rotations. Tech days are something that the students look forward to every week and it is a great way for the students to get to know their local college before they start Year 9.
