“The Best Little Book Fair in the West!”
28th/29th May 2016

The Lions Club of Helensville is once again holding their popular Autumn Book Fair in May, Saturday 28th9am to 4pm, Sunday 29th10am to 3pm in the Helensville War Memorial Hall.
This follows on from their successful book fair in November where $7,600 was raised for use in the local community. An excellent clearance of books was achieved at the Christmas Fair and the large number of newly donated books now arriving daily will ensure an exciting fresh look to the Autumn Book Fair.
The books cover as wide a range of subjects as it is possible to imagine, and as a point of difference from other book fairs Helensville Lions take pride in making your browsing as effortless as possible by having all books sorted and grouped into areas of popular interests and authors.
Nonfiction is split into twenty separate categories, including one dedicated to New Zealand subjects, but that still leaves a large general nonfiction section to search through.
Fiction is arranged in alphabetical order, with six special interest groups, the largest of which is fantasy novels, with over 1,000 titles.
Books are priced to sell with paperbacks at $1, hardbacks at $2.00 and all children’s books being 50c.
A good selection of jigsaws, board games, puzzles, LPs, Videos, DVDs, CDs and a selection of quality magazines is also available.
All funds raised go to the Lions Club of Helensville Charitable Trust, and are used for the benefit of the local community, last year we put back over $30,000.00 into the community.
