Make a movie in one dayThis fast paced workshop returns to Helensville’s Art Centre on Saturday April 30th at a subsidized cost of just $45.
The course runs from 10.30am-4.30pm and participants will receive a copy of their completed DVD at the Movie Premier at 7pm the next night! All are welcome to attend the premier. Short film-maker Hank Snell will facilitate the workshop. Hank has made movies in his native Canada, the UK and New Zealand and has been to Buckingham Palace as recognition for a film made with a ‘differently abled’ young man.
To book on this workshop pop into the Art Centre, in the basement of the Helensville War Memorial Hall at 49 Commercial Road or email Pauline coordinator@artcentrehelensville.org.nz or phone 021 158 6859. The Art Centre is open Tuesday to Friday 10am-4.30pm and Saturdays 10am-3pm. Places will only be guaranteed once payment is received. Pauline warns that this is a truly fast paced workshop and participants need to bring with them any props, costumes, musical instruments and any other equipment they may wish to use as once Hank has sat and brainstormed with the group there will be no time to stop.
