With 460 cars competing in October at Aroha Cruise In (http://www.cruisein.co.nz/), the prestigious annual classic car, bike and hot rod show held in Te Aroha, Kaipara Classic Car Club were thrilled to take out five of the seven top prizes.
Best Car Club: Kaipara Classic Car Club (second time win).
Best Pickup Truck: Dave Swale, 1952 Ford F2 (second time win).
Best Engine Bay: Glenn Ross, 1969 Chevrolet El Camino (second time win).
Best Classic Car: Coral Ritchie, 1964 Ford Fairlane (first time entered).
Best Car Under Restoration: Pam Thompson, 1965 Ford T-Bird.
The next event is the classic car show Shine in d’Ville, to be held at the Helensville Pioneer Museum Reserve on Sunday 8 November. Entry is by gold coin donation, with proceeds going to the Helensville Pioneer Museum.
