At the end of Term 2 Kaukapakapa School held a market day. Every student from year 0 to 8 was involved in making items to sell on the day. The senior school aimed to use 80% recycled materials.
Years 5 to 8 learnt about voting methods and using the Alternative Vote method it was decided that all profits from the day would be donated to the SPCA. We are very proud to announce that this week we sent a cheque for $3136.60 to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
